The project is designed to provide youth with specialized leadership training in adolescent reproductive health. Engaging youth in addressing adverse reproductive health outcomes provides them with the skills to become active partners in the development and implementation of initiatives that improve the sexual health of youth in the community.
The Springfield Pregnant and Parenting Teen Project (SPPTP) is a partnership between Partners for a Healthier Community, MCDI, the YWCA of Western Massachusetts, Behavioral Health Network and other community based organizations.
